The Postdoctoral Education Program (PDEP) offered by the
Office of Graduate Education serves to prepare leaders in the
fields of engineering, science, technology, humanities and
social science, architecture, and management. The PDEP program
offers professional development seminars on pedagogical
techniques; learning outcomes and assessments; and professional
responsibility. Other opportunities for career development are
available in conjunction with the Institute’s Center for Communication
Practices and The Center for
Career and Professional Development.
Our mission is to provide postdoctoral scholars with
academic development and to be a liaison at the Institute with
other university offices for the scholars.
PDEP is staffed within the Office of Graduate Education
at 1516 Peoples Ave on the Troy campus. For more information or
