All new graduate students are
required to attend the general graduate orientation, which is
coordinated by the Graduate School. All new teaching assistants
(new domestic and international), and current students awarded
a teaching assistantship for the first time must attend these
sessions.
Fall entrants will be invited to a general orientation in
August; if you are a spring entrant, you will be invited to a
January orientation.
Many departments/schools offer additional orientation
activities. Please contact your department directly regarding
your expected arrival date. If you are enrolling for the summer
term, orientation will be offered by your department.
The fall general graduate orientation for all new
students was held on Thursday, August 27, 2009 in
Darrin Communications Center (DCC) Room 308 -
9:00am-12:00pm.
The spring general orientation and TA training for
all new students will be held on Friday, January 22,
2010.
