All new graduate students are
required to attend the Academic Orientation Seminar for
Graduate Students, which is coordinated by the Office of
Graduate Education. Fall entrants will be invited to the
orientation in August. Spring entrants will be invited to the
orientation in January.
Many departments/schools offer additional orientation
activities. Please contact your department directly regarding
your expected arrival date. If you are enrolling for the summer
term, you should plan to attend Graduate Education’s fall
orientation seminar mentioned above, in addition to any
department activities offered in the summer or just prior to
the start of the fall semester.
