Upcoming External Fellowship and Scholarship Opportunities

These opportunities enhance your academic and professional careers, and may provide financial support for research, travel, or tuition. The fellowship application process can be lengthy and intensive, so we encourage you to start your search right away. Please use our online resources (see right) to explore available opportunities, to learn about prominent competitions, and to gain tips on submitting successful applications.

Research Mini-Fellowship- Society for Free Radical Biology and Medicine
For PhD students and PostDocs
This opportunity provides additional research training opportunities for young investigators in the field of free radical biology that are not available at the home institution. Students will be provided with $2,500 to do research (up to four weeks) with a SFRBM Mentor.

Science Outside the Lab
For graduate students in science and engineering
A two week program in Washington, D.C. that offers the opportunity to learn how decisions about science and innovation funding, regulation and policy are made. There are two sessions taking place, the first May 26-June 6, and the second from June 2-June 13. There is a $3,000-$4,000 cost involved.

Global Health Fellows Program II
For seniors and alumni who have completed their undergraduate degree within the last 24 months in business, information systems or computer science.
A Business Intelligence Intern position is available. This person will assist the Business Intelligence Team in analyzing data to use for managing and improving the Global Health supply chain program.
There is a $1,680 bi-weekly salary.
