The fellowship application process can be lengthy and intensive, so we encourage you to start your search right away. Fulbright US Student Program

For all Rising Seniors, Graduating Seniors and Graduate students
1 year fellowship (travel and living stipend) to design your own study/research projects or English Teaching Assistantships abroad

Xerox Minority Scholarships

For all students (graduate/undergraduate)
Up to a $10,000 scholarship for underrepresented students in engineering and the sciences.

Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship

For students with a Bachelor's degree in any discipline as long as the student has a background in peace and national security issues
6-9 month fellowship working on research or advocacy projects with a partnering agency in Washington DC

Mellon/ACLS Dissertation Completion Fellowships

For PhD students in the Humanities or Social Sciences that are in their last year of PhD dissertation writing
One year fellowship that provides up to $38,000 award to support the completion of a student's dissertation. The award provides a stipend, fund for university fees and research support.

The Hertz Foundation Graduate Fellowship Award

For incoming first year PhD students or first year PhD students in the Applied physical, biological and engineering sciences.
Up to a 5 year fellowship providing full tuition and a $32,000 stipend.

AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellowship Program

For individuals holding a doctoral level degree in AAAS specified fields or those with MS in an Engineering discipline with at least three years of professional experience
One year fellowship to participate in and contribute to the federal policymaking process while learning firsthand about the intersection of science and policy

NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program

For master's and doctoral degrees in the fields of science, social science and engineering supported by the NSF
Three year fellowship that provides a living stipend ($32,000) and an education allowance of $12,000

AERA Minority Dissertation Fellowship Program in Education Research

For underrepresented minority graduate students who have advanced to candidacy and have a dissertation topic that relates to education research
One year fellowship that provides a stipend ($19,000) and AERA conference support
