The Office of Graduate Education at
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute provides graduate students
with the administrative, academic, and curricular guidance they
need to progress through their courses and programs. This
includes assisting in changes to student degree status, and
advising on thesis, registration, and graduation issues. The
Office of Graduate Education works closely with faculty and
staff, school and department administrators, as well as the
Graduate Student Council, which represents graduate students in
university affairs.
The Office of Graduate Education is located at 1516 Peoples
Avenue. From the corner of 15th Street and Peoples Avenue,
facing the Field House (East), we are the second lot on the
right (a white and brick house with pillars).
Rensselaer invites graduate students to apply
and enroll in credit courses including degree and certificate
programs. Graduate students interested in credit
courses and degree programs must apply first for admission to
Rensselaer. Students interested in taking courses only should
apply for non-matriculated status.
